Metroport Humane Society is involved in two different programs to help with the costs of getting pets spayed or neutered: SNYPs and ABC.

SNYP (Spay/Neuter Your Pets) Coupons

We offer SNYP Coupons to anyone who CONTACTS US to request one. The coupon(s) will be sent to you along with a current list of participating vets who honor the coupons. Let the vet know when you make your appointment that you're using one of the SNYP coupons from Metroport Humane Society. This coupon will allow you to get your pet spayed or neutered for the following prices:

Cats: female $45 male 30
Female Dogs: 30lb $55, 31-60lbs $65
Male Dogs: 30lbs $35, 31-60lbs $45
Dogs over 60lbs call vet for prices

ABC (Animal Birth Control) Program

The second program we are involved with is the ABC Program that we sponsor about two times per year.

When there is an ABC Program going on, you may contact the Denton Spay and Neuter program at the below phone number and mention Metroport Humane Society's ABC Program in order to take advantage of this great opportunity to have your pet spayed or neutered. There is a limit of four pets per visit. We work with the TCAP for the ABC program:

This group performs the surgeries at their clinic in Denton; pet owners take the pet to the Denton office for the procedure. When Metroport Humane Society sponsors the ABC Program, the cost to spay or neuter a pet is only $10. Our organization picks up the difference from their normal charges.
